February session of "Getting Started as a Freelance Translator"

The next session of my online course Getting Started as a Freelance Translator starts on Wednesday, February 22 and I have openings for seven more students; it would be great to see some blog readers there! This is a four-week session where we work on some very targeted assignments: your translation-targeted resumé and cover letter, marketing plan, rate sheet and online presence. If you’re a beginner or someone who wants to revamp your business plan for 2012, the class is a quick and affordable (US $250, discount for ATA members) way to get your freelance ball rolling! The past few sessions have filled up with eight students, so I would recommend signing up soon if you’d like to participate. The class is completely self-paced and we also do a few live conference calls throughout the four weeks so that you can feel confident about launching your translation business at the end of the session!
